On My Way To Etsy!

It’s ever slow, this brand building/blogging/mompreneur thing, when one has a wee one. Which is quite alright, because there’s nothing better than playing with and caring for my little guy. And the big one. There are some crafty goods I’d like to share though, next week there will be more as I have a couple dreamcatcher baby mobile orders! Wheee!

I think how I am going to work it is to blog about what I make, then add them to my Etsy…and when I have a bunch of varied product I’ll set up the le petit rêve boutique all official. I’m working on some dandy tweaks and animation idears for an ooooo and ahhhh factor in the boutique; which will require the aid of BSM to code and make happen, so it shall be last. Just thinking aloud there.

Without further delay, here are some precious butterfly pillows/toys I made for one of my besties baby shower a while back. As I use mostly recycled sweaters (only 100% merino wool and/or 100% cotton, organic when I find it); to make toys and pillows, no one requested order will be exactly like the last. One could either choose what’s already in the boutique/etsy, or custom order with their choice of colours/motif. Pretty much any sort of animal/object/fruit/you-name-it can be made.

These beauties look great on bed, in crib or in mouth, (the babes, not yours). Since they are made with all natural materials…no worries! Hooties (owls), Feathers, Chickadees, Lambs, Hedgehogs, Veggies & Fruits to come!

Blankies
3 extra large. Ultra lightweight for summer.
1 organic cotton stretchy swaddle with ruffle stitch, 1 organic fleece, 1 reversible bamboo. 3 ft x 2ft.
Available in heavier weights, smaller/whatever size one could wish for.
Cheeky bum salve bonus gift.
Any colour one could wish for with or without contrasting stitch.
As in, the non-contrasting stitch would be the same colour as the material.
Just in case you couldn’t figure that one out.

Now. Brace yourself for the cuteness. The ridiculous, SurfleSNOP, ZOMG Squish, Kiss, Attack, cuteness. Featuring le petite revê’s newest customer and model, Liam Elliot. This young lad came into my life at Baby & Me Fitness. He and his momma are the sweetest, the sauciest, the smartest, the coolest. Did I mention the cutest? You can click on any of the photo’s to see the full deal.

About that Cheeky Bum Salve. It’s genius for all things that require moisture/healing. Not just bums. Chapped cheeks, lips, eczema and uhm…anywhere else you fancy.

Harvest:
Chamomile; (anti-inflammatory) plantain (healing), lavender, calendula (soothing), tea-tree oil (anti-bacterial).
Aged (3 weeks) in olive and almond oil (moisturizing). Hand set in vitamin e (moisturizing), shea butter (emollient) and beeswax.
