In lieu of the upcoming holidays; there is much to be thankful for, much to discuss in love and unity, much to reconsider. I was in a debate recently over FB. Yea, Facebook. It happens. It was in response to this video being posted by a wise friend.
Voting: Nammy’s, APCMA’s & Toronto’s Mayor
Here’s a bit of shameless circulation. Perhaps you’ll all forgive me, this one – because you love music. It moves you. It inspires you. It makes you wanna shake your boot-ay. You respect and appreciate the hard work that goes into making a career out of art and want to support this beautiful family and their endeavors. But mostly, mostly because they are a solid, groove-alicious band deserving of the nom’s and even more so of the win. Please take a few to cast your votes!

Now that I’ve gotten that worthwhile share off my chest – I have one more thing to say.
Really Toronto??? Rrrrreaaaallllly? So things are not perfect in office. Are they ever? Can they ever be? Is this buffoon the answer? Oy. Vey. Unfortunately all the candidates are a joke, but none QUITE as bad as this loud-mouthed happy-hour. One of the worst electoral race’s I’ve been witness to yet. How we are about to get from bad to worse..
To Market, To Market…
So I’m nutters. It’s official. Most of you may have noticed that in lieu of the huge summer projects that I have on the go, that le petite reve has been put on hold until the fall. Big, huge, time-waffling projects. The most important one being, which I LOVE – my growing baby, my sweet WSL. The other biggie is that festival you’ve all heard me blather on about, the Eaglewood Folk Festival. I’m on the Board, I’m the Volunteer Coordinator to over 100 peeps, I fundraise, I design, I implement, I do, do, I do. It has been rewarding in many ways, but it’s time to move on and this will be my last year. I have a family now and a new business to get off the ground. Dreams to make reality. O yea, we were also on tour for most of the summer with the BSM and the band he slaps serious funky, sexy bass for, Digging Roots. It helps that they are family of the non-blood kind and that available internet and and king size beds for co-sleeping families were written into their Tech Riders. Ha, Ha.
